She holds a Masters degree from West Virginia University as well as CPHQ certification in healthcare quality and a CCS-P certification in clinical coding. Pati holds several prominent positions within her profession: * Professional and Technical Advisory Committee for the National Association for Healthcare Quality * Editorial Review Panel for the Journal of Healthcare Quality. * Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) examiner - state level Baldrige examiner for Quality Texas Foundation * Steering Committee on Healthcare Associated Infections for the National Quality Forum. * Previous Board member for the Texas Gulf Coast Association for Healthcare Quality Pati specializes in education and training as well as providing on site or remote organizational assessment and performance improvement for patient safety, quality and accreditation issues for smaller hospitals, healthcare facilities and practices. |
With over 30+ years in medicine and 20+ years in approaches quality of care and patient safety with his eye toward excellence and his heart for the patients and their families. Having seen both the triumphs and the failures of traditional healthcare, he feels one of his greatest successes was to chose to "break from the pack" and open a very successful chronic pain practice that integrated alternative healthcare modalities with the more traditional invasive healthcare technologies. Dr. Hildebrand has also held several medical director positions in both private and not-for-profit organizations and is currently on the Medical Advisory Board for John Daniel Staffing Group. In addition to his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, he was awarded a MBA degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and has formal training and Microsoft certifications in Information Technology. In addition, he gives back to his community with donating his time to adult literacy activities. Dr. Hildebrand specializes in activities involving physician engagement in quality and patient safety issues as well as Informational technology issues in healthcare. |
